Today was the first day of class, and the main thing we did was a presentation by the teacher about her life and how the subject will be taught this year.

On the other hand, something new I learned today is all the job opportunities that exist depending on your education. This was thanks to Professor Maribel, who shared part of her life and her work in this field. I'm also reminded of how privileged I am in terms of my lifestyle, something other children didn't have during their childhood.

Finally, my personal opinion about this first class is that I'm leaving with a very positive feeling. This is because of the teacher's approachability and because it's clear she loves her job. I was a little nervous because I've never been good at English, but I think that with her as my teacher, a part of me will want to continue improving in this language.

 These were the last few days of class with Maribel, during which my classmates continued presenting their work. Both days were a lot of fun, as the projects were very well done and creative. Since we stayed a little longer, we were able to say goodbye to our teacher, who has been a key and very important person in this wonderful journey of my studies.

Lesson planning   is always important, but it is essential when teaching very young children, since this age group requires wide variety of short activities. Children will get bored if activities take too long. long and without necessarily meaning to, will start to disrupt your class. Get them standing and moving, then sitting and singing, then moving again. Craft Activities will also keep children involved. Try to provide individual and group working and playing time within the lesson. Encourage good interaction but also independent endeavour.   Your lesson plan helps you to keep track of the order in which you are going to do all these things, as well as giving you a place to jot down extra information you may need to keep in mind for an activity you are presenting for the first time.
