Metodología práctica para la Educación Infantil

 Today we did some activities that required crayons, scissors, and glue. These activities were designed to teach the children vocabulary, for example, and especially to help them recognize letters and their sounds. I've learned that with simple activities or drawings, you can learn much more than by writing or reading. I'll say it again today: I love hands-on classes, just like we're in a real school. The activities were as follows: 

 Today's class was all about practice, working in pairs, and doing activities that included getting to know each other, working on memory, and practicing the pronunciation of a short story in English. We learned that these are very fun activities for them, requiring concentration and imagination. I really enjoyed this class because it was very dynamic, and we completely forgot it was an English class. We were able to connect more with the children.

 Today the teacher focused on continuing to show us different apps we can use for classwork or to use with children in the future. We learned that with a simple app we can create a fun story for children, or even for ourselves. Something worth highlighting about today's class is how practical it was. When you hear "you have English class," you usually think it's going to be all theory, but these lessons have been very hands-on, which makes it really cool.

Many of them were new to me. Finally, something I really enjoyed was being able to interact with these apps as if we were the students.

Today in class we continued exploring the different methods for learning a new language, including their characteristics, advantages, disadvantages, and even examples with very clear and easy-to-follow videos. One of the highlights of today's class was seeing in the videos how children learn a new language, in this case English, and how they do it in a way that seems almost effortless. In my opinion, today's class was much more theoretical, and I spent most of my time taking notes, but at the same time, we were able to see how these methods are used in practice.

Today we made progress in the topic of ICT, exploring its roles and examples of how we can use it with children in Early Childhood Education. We then watched a video showing how children reacted to a class with a robot and how we can use it in different ways. The teacher also showed us how to create forms for working with children and for maintaining effective communication with parents and the school administration. Something I learned today is the wide range of uses for forms, including how to design them from scratch to our own preferences. My personal opinion of this class is that it was very rewarding, as we covered material that will be useful for our future teaching practice, and it also gave us our first experience working with ICT in our classroom groups.

 In today's class, we randomly assigned topics to each group. We also delved deeper into the world of ClassDojo, where the teacher will interact with us for everything we do in class. We also began the topic of ICT (Information and Communication Technologies), which are very present in children's lives and, of course, in school. Something I learned today is when to be quiet and when to interact. We continued learning how to pronounce some words that we were still mispronouncing. Finally, something I want to highlight from this class, and that I really liked, is that it gives us the option to answer questions without fear of making mistakes. It instills confidence that if something is wrong, it's not the end of the world because that's what teachers are there for to teach us.
